Collaborative Introductory Computational Science and Engineering

This proposal aims to encourage broad Institute collaboration on the design of the new first-year-oriented subject 16.0002 Introduction to Computational Science and Engineering after a successful pilot in fall 2020. The goals are to create a repository of engaging and illustrative examples that can be used as problem sets in class, and to spur the interest of faculty members and graduate students to help with live implementation and co-instruction in future semesters.
