Fall registration

Fall registration is open. Remember to meet with your advisor to discuss your subject selections for the term. Once your advisor has approved your choices, complete your registration by Friday, September 11.

Cross-registration for the fall term

MIT students may cross-register for classes at Harvard, Wellesley, or MassArt. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with guidelines, procedures, and deadlines for each institution.

Diplomas for September graduates

Learn about opting-in to receive your digital diploma and update the mailing address for your paper diploma in the degree application by Thursday, September 17.

Deadline for undergraduates on the September degree list to change a Spring 2026 subject to Flex P/NR grading.

Registration deadline. Registration for all students must be submitted by this date. $50 late fee after this date.

Degree application deadline for February SB and advanced degrees. $50 late fee after this date ($85 after December 11).

Deadline for second-term juniors to submit the HASS Concentration Proposal Form. $50 late fee after this date.
