MIT's Independent Activities Period (IAP) began on Monday, January 5 and continues through Friday, January 30. Visit our IAP registration page to learn about taking classes or doing research during the month of January.

Harvard cross-registration

MIT students may begin cross-registering for spring 2026 subjects at Harvard on Monday, January 12. 

Curriculum Development Funds RFP

The d’Arbeloff Fund and the Education Innovation Funds are soliciting preliminary proposals for projects intended to make a substantial impact on undergraduate education and learning at MIT. Learn more and apply by January 30.
