Announcements

Did you know?

This was the first year that the Institute had two different graduation ceremonies occurring on separate days, which required the Corporation to approve all degrees on the date of the Doctoral Ceremony on June 6. For this reason, June 6 is the official award date for all June degrees. Questions? Email records@mit.edu.

Commencement by the numbers

This year, 1,086 undergraduate students, 1,368 graduate students, and 537 doctoral students received their diplomas during the Commencement exercises on June 6 and 7. Congratulations to our newest alumni!
