Phase Two of the CUP Experiment

Undergraduate students entering MIT this fall will be part of Phase Two of the Experimental Grading Policy to Increase Flexibility for Exploration and Discovery in the First Year. See the Office of the First Year website for additional information and FAQs.

Did you know?

This was the first year that the Institute had two different graduation ceremonies occurring on separate days, which required the Corporation to approve all degrees on the date of the Doctoral Ceremony on June 6. For this reason, June 6 is the official award date for all June degrees. Questions? Email records@mit.edu.
