We are in the process of developing a new subject that involves positive psychology, data science, humanities, and interdisciplinary use of artificial intelligence. The purpose of this course is to improve the students’ wellbeing and learning strategies, empowering them with data science and communication tools that they can then apply in different contexts. The subject will be tailored for MIT students, helping them make the best use of personal and local resources, and to create meaningful relationships on campus. Our iterative approach for this course started as a 3-unit P/F seminar in fall 2024 and a 6-unit P/F seminar in spring 2005, aimed at testing students' interest and preliminary content. During summer 2025 we will develop new material and modify the subject’s structure and grading system to create a full 12- unit CI-H subject to be taught for the first time as a pilot in Fall 2025.
