The Mathematical Space of Digital Humanities will build upon educational possibilities created by the Summer 2020 public release of the Early English Books Online-Text Creation Partnership (EEBO-TCP) corpus and its metadata, which presents unprecedented opportunities to model and explore the worlds of early modern English print culture. With support provided by the Education Innovation Fund for Teaching and Learning, we will conduct a series of exploratory workshops and UROPs designed to hone students' attention to the mathematical underpinnings of common digital humanities techniques while expanding their horizons regarding the range of mathematical possibilities for analysis that might be used productively in these contexts. Insights arising from this work will be used to enrich Concourse teaching.
