These interactive modules will improve the junior year thermodynamics curriculum for roughly 150 students per year in the department of Mechanical Engineering. This subject matter is required for all Course II and IIa students. Thermodynamics will become a truly mens et manus portion of the MIT- Mechanical Engineering education. Some or all of these modules will be incorporated into the MITx version of 2.05 currently being developed by the PI, to release as a MOOC in Spring 2017.
