A Lesson Plan Template for Embodied Lab Activities

We apply for d’Arbeloff funding to support the development of (1) a general lesson plan template for embodied learning activities and (2) formalized lesson plans for the embodied lab activities in STS.014/PEW.537 Embodied Education. This subject is a collaboration between the Program in Science, Technology and Society and the Department of Athletics, Physical Education, and Recreation. STS.014/PEW.537 connects the Physical Education and Wellness GIR to traditional academic offerings at the Institute by showcasing physical education’s long history as a STEM field, as well as its possibilities as a method for experiential learning.
